Annual Report

The Johnson City Public Library has published its Annual Report. Our theme is "Growing in Difficult Times."

JCPL Strategic Plan FY2009-20012
The Johnson City Public Library Board of Directors approved a comprehensive 3-year strategic plan at their September 8, 2009 regular meeting. Members of the community and library staff spent several months developing the plan, and Board members were unanimous in their support. Library Director Bob Swanay said that "this plan positions the library to maximize our effectiveness and relevance to the community."

R.E.A.D.S.
The Regional Ebook and Audiobook Download System allows our patrons to download digital versions of print books and digital audio books to their home computers and certain portable audio players.  (R.E.A.D.S Online Help)

Online Resources (Databases)
Library patrons may access the resources of the EBSCO Auto Repair Reference Center, CQ Researcher, Heritage Quest, the Tennessee Electronic Library, and World Book Online either in the library or from your home computer.

Friendly Visitor Program
The library’s Friendly Visitor Program is designed to bring library services to citizens of Johnson City who cannot reach the library due to a disability.
