Get a Library Card
Library cards are free of charge to most area applicants who fill out a short form (available from the Circulation Desk or online below). Application must be made in person at the Circulation Desk because the applicant must provide current photo identification (with BIRTHDATE) along with an additional form of dated current address verification. Cards are available to Non-residents for a $25.00 per year fee.
Children 3 to 15 may obtain a card with the signature of a parent or legal guardian who provides the necessary identification and address verification.
Most first time borrowers are allowed to check out two items.
The charge for the first replacement card is $1.00. Additional replacement cards will be $5.00.
We ask that you bring your library card each time you wish to check out materials and remind you that library cards are necessary for using computers at the library.
You can save time applying for a library card by downloading, printing, and completing the appropriate application before coming to the library. They are in the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF).
