To commemorate the centennial of World War One, on Thursday, March 27th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Jeremy Cobb will speak at the Johnson City Public Library in the Jones Meeting Room. He will be presenting on The First World War: Modern Weaponry and Society. This will include advancements in military technology, how those developments impacted the way wars are fought and how society functions. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session. This event is free and open to the public.
