How to Use JCPL eLibrary Resources

August 22, 2013 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

On Thursday, August 22nd at 6:00 p.m., come to the Computer Center on the second floor of the Johnson City Public Library for a class on using the library’s eLibrary resources. Through the eLibrary section on our updated website, you can access educational databases such as World Book for a variety of school subjects using the Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL). ┬áLearningExpressLibrary offers homework help, subject enrichment, and test prep resources for the major standardized college entrance exams (e.g. SATs and ACTs). The library also offers two language learning resources, PowerSpeak and Mango Languages, which can help you build conversational skills at home. You will also find out how you can download free mp3s and borrow e-books from the library. Students and their parents are welcome and encouraged to attend this free class.
