Microsoft Word is a popular word processing software program. You can use Microsoft Word to create almost any kind of document, including resumes, letters, flyers, and reports. Come to the Johnson City Public Library Computer Center on Thursday, May 15th at 6:00 p.m. to attend a free class that will help you start using Microsoft Word 2007, the version we have in our Computer Center. Using Universal Class, an online continuing education resource available to patrons of the Johnson City Public Library, you will start learning how to use Microsoft Word for your personal and professional projects. You can continue attending the Microsoft Word class on your own to become proficient using Word, and when you finish the course you will receive a certificate of completion to add to your portfolio. This class is free and open to the public; no registration is required. It is recommended that you bring a pair of headphones to this class. If you have questions about this class or about Universal Class, please call the library at 423-434-4454.
