Today, computers are an essential part of our lives at school, work, and home. They help us get a job, they connect us with family and friends, and they let us access resources for entertainment and education.
The Johnson City Public Library has a variety of resources available for anyone who needs to get started using computers. Attend a free computer class in the Johnson City Public Library second floor Computer Center on Thursday, May 8th at 6:00 p.m. In this class, you will learn basic computer skills like how to turn on a computer, how to use a mouse, and how to type on a keyboard. You will also learn about resources that can help you continue practicing and building your skills. There will be opportunities during class to ask questions and receive one-on-one assistance. This class is free and open to the general public. If you have questions, please call the Johnson City Public Library at 423-434-4454.
