For 8th-12th graders. A discussion by teen participants of the novel The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd. Registration is required. Call Youth Services at (423)-434-4458 to register. Each participating teen will receive a new copy of the book two weeks prior to the program. Teens may keep the book if they attend the program. The Madman’s Daughter tells the story of The Island of Dr. Moreau (by H.G. Wells) from the perspective of Dr. Moreau’s daughter, Juliet, who travels to her estranged father’s island, only to encounter murder, medical horrors, and a love triangle.
